Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

PARIS RE Holdings Limited (Euronext: PRI) (“PARIS RE” or the “Company”) announces that the Annual General Meeting of the Company will take place on April 29 at 2pm (CET) and will be held at Casino Zug, Artherstrasse 2-4, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.

PARIS RE releases 2007 Q4 and full year results

PARIS RE Holdings Limited announces net operating income of US $67.9 million for the fourth quarter and US $271.1 million for the year ended December 31, 2007. Net operating income to average tangible equity amounts to 13.3% for the full year 2007. Book value per share and tangible book value per share increased 12.0% and 16.2% for the year to US $27.12 and US $24.88 as of December 2007.

PARIS RE Holdings Limited reports on the successful migration of its portfolio during the January renewals

PARIS RE Holdings Limited (Euronext: PRI) (“PARIS RE”) announced the successful migration of its portfolio from AXA RE to PARIS RE during the January renewals. Renewals were satisfactory in terms of pricing and in line with PARIS RE’s expectations.

“We are very satisfied with the outcome of renewals at 1 January, as it reflects the highly successful migration of our portfolio from AXA RE to PARIS RE, combined with PARIS RE’s continued focus on underwriting discipline. Our team proactively reduced capacity where underwriting margins were deemed to be inadequate, while also accessing attractive new business. We are also proud of significantly increasing our client base in a challenging environment,” commented Hans-Peter Gerhardt, Chief Executive Officer of PARIS RE.

Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

PARIS RE Holdings Limited (Euronext: PRI) (“PARIS RE” or the “Company”) announced that an Extraordinary General Meeting of its shareholders held in Zug, Switzerland, on January 14, 2008 has approved its Board of Directors’ proposal for a distribution of up to CHF 450.1 million of capital to shareholders (corresponding to approximately US $400 million as at December 5, 2007, the date of the Board of Directors’ approval), reflecting the Company’s commitment to effectively manage its capital and introduce leverage into its balance sheet.

Launch of PARIS RE America Insurance Company on 1 January 2008

PARIS RE proudly announces the launch of the newly reorganized PARIS RE America Insurance Company which will begin doing new business on 1 January 2008. PARIS RE is consolidating the operations of its three US subsidiaries: PARIS RE America Insurance Company (formerly in run off and previously known as AXA RE America Insurance Company), AXA Space (based in Washington DC) and PARIS RE Latin America (based in Miami). As of the first of the year, these three companies and their employees will operate as PARIS RE America Insurance Company. In conjunction with the launch of PARIS RE America, the company is pleased to announce the opening of a New York office which will write US Property Facultative reinsurance. The New York team is led by Jorge Linero. PARIS RE America Insurance Company benefits from an A- (Stable) rating from both Standard & Poor’s and AM Best.

PARIS RE releases 2007 Q3 and first nine month results

PARIS RE Holdings Limited announces net operating income of US $90.0 million for the quarter and US $203.8 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2007. Annualized net operating income to average tangible equity amounts to 17.6% for the third quarter.

On 21 June 2007, AM Best assigned a financial strength rating of A- and an issuer credit rating of “a-” to PARIS RE France, PARIS RE Switzerland and PARIS RE Bermuda. It affirmed the financial strength rating of A- and assigned an issuer credit rating of “a-” to PARIS RE America. More information.
